5th Grade Students are sketching their Final Self Portrait for Our NEO POP Romero Britto Inspired work using patterned sections and personal symbols!! on Watercolor Paper! :)

5th Grade Artists have started Sketching and observing themself in a mirror to make an observational- self portrait drawing with REALISTIC facial proprotions! 

5th Graders added details to their squeegeed Gerhard Richter Inspired work while utilizing their color scheme and creating a complete composition

5th Grade Artists had a PRACTICE SQUEEGEE day to learn more about the artistic process of Gerhard Richter, experiment with color mixing, and choose a color scheme!

5th Graders used CONTRAST or UNITY by looking at the color wheel while squeegeeing around their meaningful personal images with a unique composition!

5th Graders have found Magazine Images to put in the background of our Gerhard Richter inspired artwork!  The images they chose say something about them, their insterests or their personality!  Look below and try to guess what their picture might represent!  See our work in process below!

Students below used Symbols on their sketchbook cover to represent themselves and chose a paper color which represent their personality!
